We absolutely love these at LTM! Our stylist is desperate to hang ‘Fabulous’ in her bedroom next to the retro white leather chair we borrowed from her for the shoot. She says she thinks this will give her a boost of positive energy every morning and put her in a good mood to face the day. Viviane herself has ‘Delicious’ hanging in her own kitchen.

We love London-based designer Viviane Goodwin’s range of high quality retro-vintage signs with a clean and contemporary edge.
How did it start? As a designer I have long been absolutely fascinated with different fonts and typography – it borders on an obsession! I started collecting vintage signs and one of my favourite pieces is an original 1950s one from a now closed launderette in East London. I just love the iconic italics and it inspired me to start creating my own range. ‘Launderette’ is still our best seller.
Where are they made? I was determined to make our signs in England and not send them overseas. It took many prototypes before we cracked it but we found a great company that make them for us out of a barn in Suffolk. They are fantastic quality, very heavy and the attention to detail is brilliant.
What’s special about your collection? I guess it’s something different – not the usual thing you see in the home and I think our signs make a nice alternative to artwork.
