Quirky and colourful handmade cards inspired by a love of vintage fabrics

Following her graduation from Staffordshire University in the summer of 2010, graphic designer Rebecca Lancaster took the enterprising step of setting up her own card-making business. With their quirky and colourful designs and individually sourced beads and materials, Rebecca’s cards are really something special.
Favourite piece? This varies all the time – one day it could be my little thank you card because it’s cute and quirky and the next it could be the new home cards because they are so simple and fresh.
What’s special? I’ve hunted for lovely, quality card, pretty lace, ribbons and gems. I also create handmade earrings and hair pins to attach to the cards – a lovely way to send a unique card and present in one! I think my cards have personality!
What’s the inspiration? I love vintage fabrics and I find the scenery around where I live in Staffordshire really beautiful, which always makes me want to draw flowers and vibrant floral patterns.
