Taking inspiration from old adverts, packaging and posters, Mary Fellows uses colour and design details to give her utterly stunning range of printed tea towels, aprons and shopping bags what she describes as a mid-century twist. ‘I like them to almost feel a little familiar,’ says Mary. ‘I’m inspired by everyday things and I do like a good font!’ Mary is justly proud of the fact that in this age of cheap foreign mass-production, her entire range is really, truly made in England. ‘And I love that my designs are positive adages to brighten up your day,’ she says. ‘My favourite piece? Beautiful Day – because it is!’
