‘Mix and match – I love to clash!’ says Zeena. ‘I think it’s much more interesting to mix up your colour scheme and to add something handmade, one-off or vintage to your home. My sofa is covered in mad cushions from my very first fred to bright vintage prints as well as family treasures that remind me of forgotten memories!’

London-based designer Zeena Shah is a printed textile design graduate and set up her own collection of silk-screen printed and handmade home accessories in 2009.
What gets you excited? ‘I love what I do and am so lucky to be able to design what I want with no commercial restraints – hence the mad names I give my prints!’
Favourite piece? ‘A cushion called Fred is my favourite. He was a doodle for a very long time and my first cushion print. I was so excited to see him on my bed!’
What’s special about your collection? ‘I have great attention to detail – each design is individually hand screen printed and handmade by me and then finished with vintage buttons and a personalised label which makes each piece unique. I love packaging and think it's such an important part of the buying process. I can promise all my customers a very pretty package in the post!’
